So why choose training?
Maybe you’re about to finish your GCSEs or A-Levels and you want to start a training course as a way of getting your foot in the door in the industry you want to work in; or maybe you are already in employment but you want to continue learning to progress your career. There are lots of reasons for starting a training course and they can really help in your career progression!
With competence based training courses, you get the opportunity to fuse together typical learning and on the job training, giving you both the education you need and the skills that can only be gained by doing a specific job. These courses will only allow you to pass if you are genuinely competent at the job at hand, giving you evidence of your excellent skills and experience.
How long will it take?
Training courses each take a different amount of time, depending on the course. You will be able to find out how long each course takes, and with the flexibility granted by the internet, a lot of courses can be done anywhere at any time, as long as you can connect.
What qualification will I get?
The qualification gained will obviously depend on the course you take. Some courses will be Intermediate (Level 2), Advanced (Level 3), Higher (Levels 4-7), and Degree (Levels 6 and 7), and these levels amount to five GCSEs at Level 2, two A-Levels at Level 3, a Foundation degree at Levels 4 and 5, and a Degree at Levels 6 and 7.
